For patients that are in stable condition, and are able to be seated in a commercial aircraft, flying with an AIR AMBULANCE SG medical escort is a cost-effective and safe alternative to using a private air ambulance.

Flying with a medical escort can be an extremely economical as compared to a private air ambulance, and our medical escorts are capable of accompanying patients anywhere around Asia.

A medical assessment needs to be done prior to arranging the trip to ensure that it is safe for the patient to fly on a commercial aircraft.

Upon approval, we will schedule the trip and purchase first class or business class seats, arrange for ground ambulance transport on both ends, and take care of all necessary paperwork with the airlines, as well as with the sending and receiving hospital.

When patients can be transferred on commercial aircraft, AIR AMBULANCE SG provides the right medical escort to accompany them, either seated or on a stretcher.

During flight, the patient will be accompanied by a Registered Nurse and/or Flight Paramedic Doctor, who will administer all necessary medical care, medications, and assist with any other patient needs.

The medical escort will also assist with the boarding, de-planing, security clearance, and any other issues related to the travel. Once the trip is complete, the medical escort will accompany the patient to the receiving facility, and provide their post-flight report to ensure a safe and smooth transition for the patient.
